Prof. Dr. Helmut Fenner

Consultant in the area of clinical arthritis research and anti-cytokine therapies. Prof. Fenner’s main interest has been in new clinical development strategies for biologic agents. Formerly, he was head of the Inflammation Therapeutic Area at Roche’s International Clinical Research Department in Basel. Prof. Fenner received his PhD in medicinal chemistry from the Free University of Berlin where he continued his academic studies in the medical department until he received a professorship in biochemical pharmacology.
