Dr. Jürg Meier consults entrepreneurs and start-up companies.
He was the Executive Director of the Novartis Venture Fund for eight years. This life science venture fund helped with CHF 150 million plus
USD 100 million the start-up and spin-off of about 120 companies worldwide.
Previously, he was working over 25 years in various international functions of the former company SANDOZ Pharma Ltd.: Head R+D of BIOCHEMIE Ges.m.b.H. in Austria, Head of R+D in the US, Head of R+D Sandoz Pharma worldwide, President of Sandoz Pharma Japan.
As a member of the Swiss National Science Foundation Jürg Meier supervised three of the 14 new NCCR programs (National Centers of Competence in Research).
Dr. Meier holds a Ph.D. degree in physical chemistry from the ETH Zurich.
