Prof. Dr. med Urs A. Meyer

Dr. Meyer is Emeritus Professor of Pharmacology and the former Chairman of the Department of Pharmacology / Neurobiology at the Biozentrum of the University of Basel.
He also is a former chairman of the Biozentrum.

Previously, he was Chief of the Clinical Pharmacology Division and Associate Professor at the University of Zurich Medical School.

Professor Meyer graduated from the University of Zurich with a MD, was trained in Internal Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology at the University of California in San Francisco, where he also was an Assistant Professor.

His main interests are in Pharmacogenomics and Personalised Medicine.

Toni Michel

Since 1999, Mr. Michel is Head of Corporate Finance and International Financial Institutions of BEKB | BCBE (Berner Kantonalbank AG) where he is also responsible for the promotion of SME and new companies.

From 1997-1998, he was Chief Credit Officer of Valiant-Group in Berne.

Formerly, he had various senior management positions on the commercial lending and on the operating management sides of UBS, mainly in Zurich and abroad.

Mr. Michel holds a Certificate in Banking and Finance from the City University Business School of London.

Today, he is member of several boards and collective banking projects such as Swiss Bankers Association.
